Hello, I'm back here again with another problem. This time its my female bearded dragon shes a baby still but has an eye discharge in both her eyes so I often find her eyes dry shut from the goop in her eye drying up. I grab a cotton swab and dip it in warm water to release her eye and clean the goop out but is there a way I can fix her up permanently? I think i heard of ointment I can buy but I am unsure of where to get it. Please help, any help would be appreciated. :blob5:

Hello,

How long has your dragon had eye issues? Which UVB lighting are you using?
You are probably referring to the antibiotic eye ointment, terramycin. I can send you a link
on where to purchase, if you need to.
Are both eyes affected, or just one? The sterile saline solution is helpful but it probably wont
clear up an eye infection alone.

The coil is the issue -- please get rid of it ASAP--- they are inadequate as a UVB --- please get a 24" fixture like a Zoo Med Sunblaster or Arcadia Pro T 5 --- they are some of the best on the market w/ this bulb a 22" Reptisun 10.0 T 5 bulb the Pro T 5 needs to have a 12% bulb ---- after you get this fixed the eye should clear up --- coils are known to cause eye issues among other health problems -- when you get the fixture please post back on here and we can help you get it placed in the tank -- they need to have certain distance and placement for effectiveness of the bulb

Hello,

How is your dragon doing today?
Were you able to find the eye ointment? You can purchase it online on my store or sometimes
Agmart or Tractor supply might have it in store as well
You can go to:
www.bug-de-lite.com

Let us know how he is doing.

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
