I bought a bearded dragon from overseas and he was never a great eater. He is a Juvenile dragon. His urates always looked pinkish/red since I got him. At first it was not bad at all but over time got progressively worse. I brought him to my vet and they said he had pinworms and coxidia. He was treated but the urate did not seem to get better. Over time it seems to have gotten worse as well as his appetite. He hasn't been growing much because of the lack of eating but he appears to be healthy on the outside. Not lethargic moves around fine and seems lively. I own 10 bearded dragons and have had dragons for over 8 years. My UVB and temperature zones are perfect. He also is eating the optimal dragon diet of dubias and dandelion greens. Bathed every few days ect. Really just wondering if anyone has had any experiences with this and what I should do. My vet was clueless when it came to this. I am attaching pictures starting with the most recent. The sink picture was taken in December. then going back you can see the photos from the summer when it wasn't all that bad. I am wondering if this is just the coxidia that was never beaten and is just getting much much worse or if this is something entirely different. Please let me know what you guys think. Thank you

I always thought over supplementing caused colored urates like that. What and how often are you giving him calcium and vitamins?

I have ruled this out as I took him entirely off supplements for months just to be sure this wasn't the case as I thought maybe he was overly sensitive to the supplementation.

Off colored urate may be dietary. If he is behaving normally, I'd probably try tweaking his diet by offering different greens and veges and see if that causes any changes. If not, then I'd probably have blood work done to check kidney function.

I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
