My beardie is around 2 and half years old and is eating and behaving fine except for the fact its beard spikes are turning transparent slowly. Are they dying and going to fall off? Its cage is around 4 feet long, 1,6 deep and tall. Basking spot is around 100 F and cool spot around 70. The UVB is provided by a t8 10.0 Sylvania tube

And yes, Arcadia's a good bulb but the t8 is not as strong as t5. Can you post a pic of your enclosure ? Sometimes you need to mount the t8 inside under the screen like this using wire.
