Hello! I have a bearded dragon named Niles with a respiratory infection. He was prescribed Baytril Suspension once a day for three weeks and tomorrow will be his last day on it. Everything was going smoothly until a couple days ago when he stopped eating. He doesn't seem to be interested in his food at all, including his superworms, when before he would get excited at even just seeing the bowl I put his worms in. He won't eat greens or insects no matter what I've tried, and he's always been a good eater. I changed up his greens in case he was bored of them, but he still doesn't seem to care. Is this a side effect of the medication, or could something else be going on?

I can give more info if needed.

Hello,

Baytril is a good antibiotic but definitely dehydrating. Have you used any probiotics for
him yet? You can try getting some non dairy acidophiliz or non dairy organic soy yogurt
to give to him daily. It may take him a week or so to get back to normal on his eating. You
could even try some bee pollen or black strap molasses for help with appetite, also.

Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
