Abscess On Beardies Neck

So Rex was bitten by a rat around 2 weeks ago, and I was using honey as a treatment until it scabbed over, it seems that the bite wound got infected and formed an abscess on his neck, it isn't on top of the wound, more to the side so it may just be from growing

Should I see a vet? or wait until it disapears

It looks like the outer wound is healed over at least. Hopefully it hasn't become infected. How has he been acting recently?

He has been pretty good, a bit less active but he's jumping out of his tank to run around on my floor like a crazy dragon, He tends to stick just on his basking spot and doesn't sleep under his log anymore which is unusual but other than that I think he's alright

Will he be okay? I'm treating it with honey but should I see a vet about this?

It's hard to say what to do for sure because sometimes an abscess can go away on it's own, other times it needs treatment. Being as this was a bite you might want to have it looked at, especially if that keeps growing.

!!! It popped today :D I was able to squeeze out most of it, disinfect with peroxide and use a Neosporin (With no painkiller) He's so much more active and I'm just waiting for the rest of it to come out, so yayy his body is rejecting the abscess :3
