Beardie banging on glass

My bearded dragon bangs on his glass when he wants to come out, but now there is a dark patch on his face from banging on the glass. How can I get rid of it?

Ouch. My boy will do that too. He has probably bruised his beard or he's mad at you. Does it go away?

It hasn't yet. He has been wanting to come out of his tank a lot lately so he just bangs his head on the glass even more.

He probably wants to come out for attention or he has to poo. Or he sees his reflection in the glass. Have you tried covering up the glass so he doesn't see his reflection?

Mari did the same when she was younger and I’d put her in her bathtub. 😂 the area on their snout gets tougher with age for this reason. It’s their boop snoot.

I have done it with a blanket inside the tank and he just pulled it down, he probably has to poo tho which is why I give him to my sister when he bangs on the glass
