Hello, my beardie is 3-4 months old and I'm a new bearded dragon owner, I got him from a reptile shop in my city and upon bringing him home I've noticed his tail was a little dark at the tip and his longest back toe nail was black and turned to the side (he is a hypo so all his nails should be clear). I have had him for just over a month now and he shed once so far, his tail shed fine so I think his tail might be okay, he has feeling at the very end.
Today I noticed the black toe nail was gone, there was no bleeding and I gave him a bath to see if there was any skin stuck there and to clear it of any debris. I've tried finding answers just on Google but couldn't find something relating to a baby hypo.
I was just wondering if I should be concerned about possible tail rot and if the toe nail coming off is normal, I'll attach a few pics of his toe and tail, thank you! :D

Hi there, well you'll be happy to hear that there's no tail rot at all, just normal shed coming on. The nail has come off but that's not uncommon and will be no problem at all. Everything's good. :) One thing to be aware of is if you have a hammock that may snag a nail every now + then.

Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
