Is this tail rot?

Helli all. Just got this little/big guy yesterday. He just turned 4 months on 21st of Dec and is 14 inches long. We noticed his toe was missing partly and he had a nip on his tail from a sibling. Is this tail rot?

Hi there, that may just fall off n it's own, if it doesn't it still may be no problem. Beardies can have a little nip like that but it never gives them trouble but just keep an eye out that it doesn't start spreading upward , I don't think it will though.

Oh thats good news. What about the dark tail? Thats what concerned me

No, that comes + goes with stress. You can see it's dark in the water but lighter outside of it.

Oh great thank you!!! His hatch date was 08/21. At 14 inches, is he above average size? His hatch mates are much smaller

You're welcome ! And he's a pretty good size, right in the average for his age. Some can be smaller and some a little bigger at that age.
