I have a, at least I think, a super-female fancy bearded dragon. And her past owners were really bad to her. They didn't have heat or uvb, and caged her in a 10 gallon fish tank with barely any food and a small rock. We adopted her and she's been doing a lot better luckily. She's always really tired no matter what season, and in winter I have to wake her up sometimes because she will go into hibernation rather than brumation (I can't spell). Ok, to the point. There has been a bump growing on her side right under her scales. The bump is orange but the scales around it are white. The bump is really hard and she doesn't like when I touch it, it appears to hurt. Recently I noticed a small black spot that might be rot of some sort. Nobody I've asked seems to know what this is so I hope I find answers here.

And just a cute photo of her tired face

I'm glad she is doing well under your care and that you're able to give her a good home =). The growth on her side could be benign, but I'd probably have a vet check it out to see what it is for sure and treat it if necessary. Where is the black spot you mentioned? Is it just a black colored scale? If that's the case it may just be a blemish like a freckle and nothing to worry about. If you could post a photo of it, I'll be glad to take a look.

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
