Suddenly not using left leg?

Well this is certainly troubling! Ezekiel won't use his left front leg for the most part!

I gently moved it and there is barely any resistance at all in the arm unlike the other :(, so I don't know if he could have possibly hurt himself jumping off of his tree? I'm not entirely terrified over this since he still is running around and hissing at me like a baby and eating. :( :( :(

He was fine yesterday and most of today, so could he have injured it by jumping off of one of his tall decorations?

My set up is:

40 gallon tank
Zoomed light fixture for 5.0 T5 tube UVB
100W basking lamp as my room gets relatively cold and otherwise I cannot get the temperatures up.
CHE (Ceramic heat emitter) - I live in the north, and again my room gets rather cool.

He eats a mixture of dubia roaches, pheonix worms, and crickets along with salad. He gets wax worms as a treat whenever he is shedding or being picky.

The 5.0 bulb is not powerful enough --- where is the T 5 at ? Top of screen or inside the tank --

Switch the bulb out to a Reptisun 10.0 or Arcadia 12% --- depending on the screen it can stay on top -- what does your screen look like -- is it a fine mesh like a screen door or a wide holed screen

More fine. It's one of those Zoomed or something close to those covers. Will I have to buy a new fixture? It's a 22' I believe..

I do! It is the Reptisun Terrarium Hood T5 HO High Output. It says it is 24''
It came with a 22'' T5 5.0 HO lamp as a bundle.

Ok so go get a 10.0 bulb --- the bulb your using is like a T 8 not strong enough to go thru the screen -- you are going to need to move the fixture into the tank -- even the T 5 is not strong enough to go thru the screen if its the fine mesh-- its going to need to be 12-15 inches directly above the basking decor

Alright I'll be sure to get one since I need to go out anyway. Thank you so much!

Do you think it is possible he could have fallen and injured the foot?

Is it swollen ? Possibly are you using a hammock? Either way the UVB needs to be changed out to prevent more health issues-

My mother was looking at him and said it looked a little swollen. He had one of those green hammocks in there but I took it out after realizing his nail could have gotten caught. I replaced the UVB by the way :)

Please post a pic of him so we can see it -- did you get the bulb I recommended and is it the distance as well?

Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
