Eye shed?

This little guy is 4-5 months old, he has all the proper lighting, when we got him he was shedding and I’m fairly confident this is just a piece of shed, but I just need some reassurance. Thanks in advance!

Hello,

That does look like some dry eye shed that has stuck on. Is it bothering him?
You can get a swab & moisten it then gently rub the area to see if that helps it to work off.
How long has it been on there? Have you tried a bath?
