My 7 month old Bearded dragon "Skyver" swallowed a cherry pit an hour ago I cant find anything online about what to do. I know that cherry pits are toxic to reptiles because they contain cyanide. I can feel the pit of the cherry in his stomach. He is acting normal but I won't have any access to vet care for the next week.

PLEASE HELP I dont know what to do any advice is greatly appreciated

Hi there, beardies almost always easily pass small foreign objects through with no problem so I expect that he will in a few days. It's unlikely to cause any illness but you would want to watch for seizure + hard time breathing. He will not likely be affected though.

Hello,

Oh dear, good grief. They sure do eat & swallow some crazy things. I agree with
AHBD, he should be fine & will hopefully pass it though without any trouble. I he
didn't really chew it then it shouldn't cause him to get sick.
Let us know how he is doing.

Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
