Hi everyone! Last week I purchased a 2 month old baby beardie from a breeder. On the website it listed that he had a nipped tail and I didn't think much of it until I started reading about tail rot. I looked up videos and posted on fb forums and even reached out to the breeder but she was not much help. Nova has been happy and healthy here with me but I am just really concerned with his tail. I tried to potentially treat or reverse (maybe tail rot) it by doing betadine baths and neosporin twice a day but I haven't seen much improvement. He is about to shed so I am not sure if I should wait to see some improvement after he shed so I can get a better look at it fresh or if I should just take him to the vet. The breeder advised against a vet and to just continue the neosporin, I just wanted a second opinion to make make sure he remains healthy.
