Bearded dragons scales are peeling off WHAT DO I DO

I had just bought my juvenile bearded dragon about a month ago when I bought him he had an eye infection that's the first thing I noticed im treating the infection right now but I noticed that his scales are peeling off and I don't know what to do

the peeling is right next to his back legs

Hes shedding take a spray bottle spray him and you can take a soft baby toothbrush and lightly brush him to loosen the shed --- you can do this a couple times a day --- do not pick them off

That looks odd, can you take a pic from above him ? Is that dark spot an open wound ?

It doesn't look like he's shedding his scales are literally peeling off and there is no open wound

That patch of scales ended up falling off so now there's an odd spot of just skin and no scales

Thanks, that pic is more helpful. Has he been anywhere that he might have scraped it , like if he was loose in the house and tried to crawl under a tight spot ? Anything in his cage he could have scraped it on ? It doesn't look serious but you can dab it with a watered down betadine mix using a paper towel or cotton ball and then put some neosporin or raw unpasteurized which is a natural antimicrobial. Just be 100 % sure there are no loose insects, esp. crickets in the tank. They can hide under cage decor so be sure to look around.

Thank you so much I'm very happy that he's going to be ok my last bearded never had this problem he was very happy and healthy and died after a long 9 years had him when I was 6 and I want Mushu to live a bit longer than him

Wow, that does look a bit off, but I think it looks as if he damaged his scales somehow I
agree. How long have the scales looked like that?
Raw honey works miracles on skin issues. Let the area heal up & it should eventually
slough off once it has healed.
