Hello,

He is a a real sweet boy, poor thing!
Metabolic bone disease is such a mean & cruel ailment but it looks like he is in good hands
with you now. He does seem happy though.
I agree the Reptisun 10 T5 will be perfectly fine as long as it's in a good distance range. The
halogen bulbs are great & he should love that.
How is he doing today?

His poor back makes me so sad. But hes doing really good. He's shedding for the first time since we got him. It seems to be going well. He's not being to active but I'd imagine it's uncomfortable to shed. He is eating all the bugs I give him but only nibbles a bit on his salad. I've read shedding can make them a bit grumpy but he hasn't been grumpy at all. I've seen salad dressings made for reptiles im wondering if I should try that to make his salads more enticing? I give him green hornworms as treats and realized if i put them on his salad instead of hand feeding them to him the collard greens in particular stick to there feet lol so he gets a bit of greens that way. Lol im trying everything I can to get him healthy.

Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
