Clogged femoral pores

Hi again, I have another issue with my bearded dragon. I gave him a bath and he pooped in it which is fine. But I was drying him off and noticed that he had brown spots on his back legs. I looked it up and apparently they are know as femoral pores. I wanted to know what I should do and if he’s alright.

Hi there , his femoral pores look fine.

Beardies use them to leave pheremones + mark territory.

So there isn’t anything I need to do about them because they look like they are kind of popping out. It’s hard to see in the picture.

No, those are perfectly fine ! Clogged pores are MUCH thicker + larger than that.

Just as long as he has a few rough objects like a large rock and log for basking, that will keep them in good shape like they are.

Very off topic, but he looks like a SHE. Very small femoral pores and it also looks like there’s one single hump above the vent. ?‍

Hello,

The pores do look pretty normal to me, also.

Most of the time, they clear out on their own
but sometimes they can become clogged or irritated.
