mouth rot??

hey! this site unfortunately won’t let me upload any pictures, it keeps getting stuck so i posted a video on youtube, i was wondering if this could be mouth rot? this isn’t my first beardie but i’ve never had to experience mouth rot so i don’t really know what all to do. i just brought him home yesterday!

Some others on here would need to look but to me it looks like a burn-- is he able to get close to his basking bulb?

he can get semi close, but there is a screen there and it’s in a dome, so he cannot touch it. I really don’t know how his other family kept his lights though.

Ok well some others on here would need to look that have more experience and they can tell you what to put on it --- you just got him from someone else?

yes, i got him from someone else. they got him for their daughter and their daughter wasn’t taking care of it so they got rid of him. inside his gums he doesn’t have any puss or anything, it looks normal. and he is starting to shed, do you think it could just be the shed that’s turning it grey?

Yes it could be shed --- is he eating ok - is it painful to touch?

nothing is wrong to the touch, nothing feels weird and he doesn’t mind if i touch it. he’s eating pretty good, considering i just got him. his old family kept him in the wrong diet so i’m slowly changing his diet to something better. he’s still pretty active.
