About 2 days ago my dragon was in his outside pen and rubbed his nose against the wire pretty hard. It's a dark purple color and looks like he cut some of his lip. I'm not exactly sure what to put on it or if I should put anything at all on it. I've heard honey and some types of neosporins work. But I dont want to put anything on him unless I know for sure if it's safe to do. So please give me some suggestions on what I should do to help heal his nose.

Silly boy.

I'd be careful of putting any antiseptics on that spot as they are very likely to be licked off and ingested very promptly.

I'd go to the chemist and ask for a tube of Activon Medihoney , this is pure manuka honey. Simply apply a drop to the injured snout and lip a few times a day - expect a licking frenzy as my lizards all LOVE the stuff.

Make sure you don't leave any crickets or roaches or locusts in the tank with him while there is honey on his nose.

You can just go to your local supermarket and pick up some raw honey. Make sure it's raw unpasteurized.

From there you can place a thin amount on the nose. Do try to keep it away from the nostrils. This will help ward off any slight infection that wants to start and allow the skin to heal.

What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
