Hi!

We've discovered that 4 of our beardies have mites. We have bought mite spray, taken them out of their vivs, bathed them and tried to get them off as much as possible. We've put them in temp vivs for now. We're not sure if the mites are in our youngests beard or if this is just the colour of her skin. This is our first time dealing with mites and feel completely clueless. I've taken pictures as best as I can, can someone please tell if these are mites or if this is her skin if possible?? Much appreciated!

Hello,

I'm not sure those are mites. It could just be the darkness or pigmentation between the
spikes. Can you tell if they are moving?
You can try bathing them, using a soft toothbrush on those areas to see if that makes a
difference in those colors.
If they do have mites, you should see some floating in the water.
Are you keeping the tank free of excess humidity?

I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate

What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
