My beardie is feeling better but his scales look terrible. His front feet, chest and butt area look like his scales are dead. One paw the grey scales came off and now it looks nasty. Any ideas?

Oh boy, that looks serious. I know you've had him to the vet + they said his foot was broken but what is causing all the sore areas ? Can you post pics of his set up ? Also, the vet should do a skin scraping [ not from the open wound though ] to test for a fungal infection. You can put raw honey on those wounds for now.

Hello,

Ouch, that cannot feel good! I agree, a fungal test should be done, to be sure it isn't fungal.
Are you using any type of undertank heater or a heat rock that could possibly be causing any
burns, etc?
Definitely try some raw, unpasteurized honey on those areas as suggested. Hopefully they
will not get infected.
Let us know how he is doing.

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
