throwing up bloody stuff?

Our dragon is about 6 most old usually pretty healthy as we have had him for about 4 weeks with no problems.
his lighting is perfect and has a good diet
soaked. every 3 days or. so
I picked up this really cool looking large aloe Vera plant leaf from Whole Foods in produce section and cut off a piece for him and he devoured it.It is the only thing that he has ingested out of the ordinary in the past day.
Now today he is not eating his greens and has passed kinda bloody stool AND looks like he threw up undigested bloody material wish I could post a pic
could this be the aloe vera ? !
WORRIED .......

Hello,

Is the aloe vera plant the only thing he has ingested in the last day or two? Did the piece have
any sharp edges, etc that could have injured or cut his insides some?
If there is that much blood, I highly recommend trying to get him to a vet as soon as possible.
Is there any chance that he ingested anything reddish or orangish in color at all that you can
think of?

Thanks for responses and yes there were sharp edges and being the obvious ***** I am I figured being from the desert he would naturally be able to eat it but apparently not,. I texted the Lady I adopted him from and she said to give it a day ,. And I did,...
He has had a normal poop and is eating and behaving fine . Dear God ,... lesson learned

Hello,

Oh dear...so, he is going to be alright though, no more vomiting any blood?
It might have been a bit hard on his system so go easy on any rough foods for a few days to be
sure his tummy & system are alright.

Let us know how he is doing.
