Head Shaking and Vibrating

Hi everyone!

Recently, my beardie has just recovered from a period of sickness and is now back to normal and we are eternally grateful!

He is eating, playing, pooping like normal and is such a joy to have in the house, however like before his sickness, his head is shaking and vibrating whenever he moves.

We feed him his veggies and bugs and we sprinkle his food with calcium powder with D3 everyday.

Was wondering if this is calcium deficiency or vitamin deficiency?

Thank you and happy new year!

Hello,

Happy New Year to you also!
Can you review your tank setup with us, such as the type/brand of UVB, how old it is, the distance
from your dragon, etc?
If possible, pictures are always helpful so we can determine anything that may need to be rearranged
or upgraded, etc.
How old is your dragon?

Might be inadequate levels of UVA , I've seen this happen.

Details of the UV light used .

Type & brand.
Wattage.
UVB rating.
how is installed and how far from the basking spot.
It's age.

Only way to be 100% sure if it's a dietary deficiency is bloodwork.

Hello,

How is your dragon doing today?
Are you able to get him into a vet?
Pictures would be great, if you can get them posted for us. Let us know how he is doing.

Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
