I recently rescued a bearded dragon that was not being taken care of. She is eight years old and i had no idea she was in such bad shape. She is dehydrated. Refusing to eat. She has a very swollen leg. Its like double the size of her other leg and it looks a bit blue with red marks. Theres no fluid in it. Her diet when i got her was horrible. Her previous owner was feeding her lettuce everyday. I dont have the 300$ for a vet visit so i dont know what to do.

Hello,

Sorry your girl has some leg swelling going on. Do you have any pictures you could post
here for us, it could be an infection based on your description. Hopefully it isn't gout,
but you may need to get her to a vet for analysis.
Is she eating very well right now?
Can you review your tank setup for her so we can be sure everything is all correct for her.

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
