Large dark spot on back help please

Hello my beard or has a large dark spot on his back which is concerning me. It almost looks like he fell asleep under his heat too long. Maybe a shed didn’t come off yet? Please help identify.

Hello,

Did that area just appear overnight that you can tell?
It almost looks like the area is going to shed. How close is his basking light to him?
I don't think it's a burn though & it definitely isn't fungal in nature. The best thing to do is to
watch the area & be sure it doesn't darken more, spread, or start to look infected.
You could get some aloe vera gel to put on it, also if you would like.

I agree with Tracie, it looks like a patch of unshed skin, very common and nothing to worry about.

I also think it's incomplete shed .... leave it be and it will eventually come off naturally.

If you are really worried about , a luke warm bath (33 degC) will help loosen it up, but IMO this is not necessary.
