Red light at night ???

Do beardies really need that red light at night ??? Because my beardie always goes into her cage where the light don’t shine & it’s cooler. I never see her lay under the basking light at night & if I don’t necessarily need it I want to know cause I can also save money on my electric bill.

Beardies never should have a red light at all. I'm guessing some petstore gave you that terrible advice?
Anyway beardies see all colors so that red light bothers them at night and they can barely get any sleep when its on.

Ditch the red bulb and if you need night time heat you can use a ceramic heat emitter, but thats only if temps drop below 65.

Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
