LEGIT GLASS SURFING 24/7 WONT STOP

PLEASE HELP

I have had my beardie for about 10 months now and she is abour 3 years old

It started when j put in a red light three weeks ago.

I took it out a few days after I knew it was bad.

She won't stop glass surfing. I feed her abd give her water and she eats and drinks. I take her our abd play with her for a fee hours and let her explore. Then I put her back and she glass surfs continuously.

I havent not slept even 5 hours since she's doing this. She makes ne stay up until 2 or three in the morning until She or I pass out. I havw to get up at 5:30 so all in getting is basically naps.

Shes not pregnant, she's eating fine, drinking fine. I can not for the life of me figure out what is wrong and she is making me hysterical. I know shes stressed but I don't know what from. Her being stressed is making me stressed.

Hi. It sounds like hormones. If she starts digging that'll be a good sign that she has infertile eggs.

Forgot to ask if you have a light on her at night? If so then it off. Berries need complete darkness to sleep.

They can certainly worry us to death!
Are you using a UVB light & if so, what type/brand is it?
I would discontinue using the red light for basking though because it can really affect them.
It is hard on the eyes, also & isn't bright enough for them. You will need to switch to a nice
bright halogen PAR 38 for basking instead of the red light.
What are the temperatures in her tank?
Are you sure she isn't developing follicles that are infertile? They tend to glass surf a lot &
want out of their tanks when they are developing follicles.

Try covering the glass with scrapbook paper or some lining. It should reduce the glare making your beardie less likely to glass surf!
