Hello, I'm concerned about my beardie Clem. She has an odd marking that developed a few days ago on the end of her snout. She is also not eating anything, no greens, no insects (not even silkworms.) I'm concerned it may be mouth rot, but it could be nothing. She is about 1 year old, in a a 90 gallon tank, her current basking spot is 100 degrees and her cool side is about 80.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Mae and Clem

It looks like her gums are swelling a bit, but it's not necessarily an infection. It looks like she's shedding around her mouth so this may be related. You might want to pick up some MaxiGuard gel and apply it around her lips and gums to keep them clean just in case an infection is starting though. Hopefully her mouth will finish shedding and everything will go back to normal on it's own.

Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding

What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
