Found cleaning out her enclosure, I found this. I want to thank everybody for their responses on my other threads. You all have been so very helpful! I will definitely never use sand! I will go back and reply to those and I’m very thankful. :)

Hello,

How is your baby doing? What substrate will you be changing to from sand?
I can find your other thread & merge these two, if you would like.

Good morning and thank you! I’m sorry for the misunderstanding - I had posted a question in general about if sand was ok to use out of curiosity and I’m glad I did...she has never been in sand, always the pieces of lanolium we bought at Lowe’s, cut and placed for her :)
I have never seen this in her enclosure and it concerned me. She’s acting fine and eating normal. I never see her drink out of her dish though. Always worried about dehydration. Anyway- hoping y’all can help :) thx so much!

Hello again,

I'm pretty sure that's just a bit of poop or food. It doesn't look like vomit to me. Although if she starts acting unusual or is sick acting or lethargic or not eating then it could have been dried vomit and then you would need to worry.

I agree that's not vomit. When they vomit, they sling their head from side to side and it throws the undigested bugs everywhere.

Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
