My Bearded dragon's hand has swollen quite a bit and I'm unsure of her condition wether it's gout,MBD or just sprain I'm hoping to identify it and determine what I can do or if I should go to the vet I do know that she is 14 years old and that she is a rescue however the swelling of the hand is new and I've had her for about a year now so hoping for some info on this thanks

Sorry to hear your dragon has a swollen hand. That can't feel good!
Can you post a picture or two so we can see to what extent it's swollen? Could she have
fallen & hurt herself possibly?
Wow, 14 is impressive. It definitely could be gout but hopefully not. If it's a sprain, then
you can move her basking down lower so she doesn't have to climb as much & hurt it worse.
What UVB light do you use & how often do you supplement calcium for her?
If it was gout, then she would probably need to be on meds for life to manage her kidneys.
Depending on the severity of gout, sometimes they only needs meds for awhile if it's just
due to diet or husbandry & not full out renal problems.
