Underbelly Blue / Blackish

Hey all, parent of a 4-5 month year old lil baby leatherback. I tried to take a pic of underneath her to determine sex, but something else caught my eye - a lot of blue / black on tummy. She has been eating fine and pooping. Any thoughts? Thanks!

He must be a transluscent, their bellies appear blue because of the transparency of their skin.

To get good pics for gender identification set him flat on a table [ or your hand ] and lift the tail straight up in the air, like a happy or excited dog's tail.

Thank you!! Yes, I spoke with the guy who I got her from and he said her breed is super translucent in the belly, and she has been eating hornworms and neglecting her greens - sigh. Thanks for your reply!!

You're welcome, and if you want to sex him/her just put a few good pics with the tail arched .
