So I just bought 2 baby bearded dragons- I know. I know buying 2 is bad but I didn't know that when I bought them and they were half off sooo ****.. but anyways I have to baby bearded dragons- one of them seems very normal, verily alert when I walk up to the cage- actively hunting for crickets etc. the other not soo much. He/she will sit on a basking spot for most of the day with one eye closed- sometimes he opens both but he will close the left one after a few seconds. I had sand in my tank the very first day and quickly changed it to a reptile mat. The sick lizards eye seems a little smaller than the healthy one, also the sick one seems to be developing some pink color on his feet and on the sides of his tail. I got them about 5 days ago. Any similar stories or remedies? Thank you in advance... also the sick one has a new light pinkish tail on his underbelly- from the tip to the base of his tail is pinkish/red.

Hi there, can you post pics of them and their set up, and list the exact type + brand of lights you use ? This is all very important. Here's how to post pics :

It's best for both babies to have their own tank. You can set up a tank easily with a large plastic tote like this.

It sounds like the strange color is either them getting ready to shed or else they may have been on colored sand at the store....but I can tell you if you post pics.

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
