Hi,
A friend of mine went away for the summer and had his beardie shipped to the location. Now she is rubbing her nose on everything Nd its becoming painfully raw. I was wondering if anyone had suggestions? How can he stop and treat it?

She is in a newly built wooden tank. About 60gal?
10.0 UVB tube
105 basking surface and a cool side around 80-85
Is fed turnip greens, some veggies, and crickets
A little over a year old
Very healthy other than this ☹️

Thank you!

Hopefully she'll settle down soon. To help her snout to heal you can put raw unpasteurized honey [ or Manuka honey ] on it. It's a natural antimicrobial and is very good for any type of wounds.

Shipping is such a stressful experience that this is to be expected. As beardie is in a new location it may also be worth providing safe, supervised access to the new environment surrounding the viv.

If beardie doesn't want to come out, dont force it.

Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
