My bearded dragon is 7 weeks old. In the last few days he hasn't been eating nearly as much as he normally does. Yesterday he didn't eat anything. He has a pyramid in his tank and he usually sleeps on the side of it, he never goes in it. Last night he slept in it and when I got up I got him out, he was freezing cold. So I turned his light on and put him on top of the pyramid (where he usually sits) and he immediately had his mouth open. I don't get it! I thought they opened their mouth when they were warm or at optimal temp. He is still really cold. Should I be worried or no?

Hi Amanda, can you give a rundown of the tank, including the exact kind of lights you use ? Also pics of your baby and the tank will be helpful. Here's how to post pics :
https://www.beardeddragon.org/useruploads/ Then use the XIMG to attach pics

What exactly was he eating before, what size bugs and how did he drink ?

Hopeflly it's nothing serious and maybe a few adjustments will help.

Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
