We have had Stanley for about 2 1/2 years and for the passed two days he is constantly sleeping and barely opening his eyes. My daughter took him out last night because she was so scared and it took him a good 10 minutes to finally get his eyes open and respond. This morning he was the same way and so she put him in the shower and he just layed there with his eyes closed. He did have a bowel movement then and seemed better. Now I just got home and he is out cold again. We are panicking and nervous. Any suggestions. I called a vet and they can't seem him until Monday.

I think the lighting is good. My daughter did just replace the bulb and it's a Zilla 17 watt bulb...I don't know if that is a problem. He was shedding within the last few days and just won't even open his eyes. I just went up there now and if it wasn't for the fact that I can see him actually breathing, I would be really nervous. I pet him a few times and he's not even opening his eyes.

lets go over your lighting in more detail... usually eye probs have to do with lighting

what type of uvb do you have (tube or coil? name brand? percentage?)
what are the temps, and how are you supplying the heat?

We have a "Zilla" Desert Series 50, T8 Fluorescent Bulb (17 Watt/24 inches) that expands over almost the entire tank. For heat I have two domes both containing 65 Watt bulbs (one is a regular standard light bulb and the other is a high-hat bulb). The thermometer reads 99 degree and it has a probe laying. The cool side is about 68 degrees where is food dish is.

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
