I think my beardie has an impaction
He acts normal, has a big appetite. But he hasnt pooped in 2 weeks :( I felt his belly and there are no bumps or anything, and I have been giving him baths everyday and have been massaging his belly. I once gave him olive oil but still no poop. He doesnt show any signs of Impaction besides not pooping. Help?

2 weeks no poo is impaction, you might want to try some unsweetened apple sauce and 2 or 3 drops of oild everyday and water baths, nice long soaks and you will get a poo out, what kind of subtrate you using

How old is your Beardie? Older beardies are known for scaring their owners due to not stooling regularly

Biggest concern here is to begin feeding soft food until you are sure he is not impacted. you can chicken or turkey baby food, or mix a smootie for him in the blender with some greens, crickets, calcium powder, and water to keep him hydrated. BLEDED WELL! No more crickets until he poops, if he is impacted, you will risk making things worse.

Olive oil works, but do not over do it. a few drops every couple of days if this persists no more.

Keep it up with the baths... lot's of warm baths. Once a day for 20 min at a time. Massages will also help, make sure you rub the right side of his belly in small gentle circular motions from armpit to vent, this should get things moving.

My beardie is about 6 month old. I havent been feeding him crickets since then, but when I feed him veggies he gobbles it all up pretty quickly. I will try some olive oil again and will continue with the baths. I hope I find a big pile of poop soon.

Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
