inhalation of airborne Salmonella particles???

hey everyone its me again
mr paranoid :shock:
anyway i was cleaning out my beardies tank
and i was shaking a hidden cricket out of a log she sits on
and a bunch of dust and whatnot flew out
i think i inhaled some of it not really sure :?:
but now im paranoid im going to get salmonella
since i dont know what was on it (poop,shed,ect)
has this happened to anyone on here and what happened
also is it possible to get salmonella this way and whats my chances
thanks for dealing with me

well i kinda ingested it being as the dust went in my mouth
and i kinda swallowed a little bit not a lot

lol to be honest i think you will be a-okay but worst it normally gets is bad poo for a while for you =)
im sure you be fine though

To the best of my knowledge Salmonella cannot be passed through air particles in any way.If it could then an individual sick with it would be able to pass it to another without conact.Its not an airborn pathogen.Generally you self infect by placing contaminated hands on or in your mouth.
