Breathing strange!

Hi, can anyone help me. My bearded dragon has started to breath funny - he will breath with his chest and then puff out his beard as his chest goes down. I'm concerned that something may be wrong :-/ nothing has changed in his viv, he is still eating and is active and his bowels work! We think he is currently starting to shed. Help??!!

it could be shedding, usually when they're noses are shedding it becomes flaky and effects breathing
or it could be respiratory issues.

I know I'm a bit late, but if your bearded dragon isn't constantly breathing like this, it's probably just stretching. My beardie does it all the time, it's nothing to worry about unless they're doing it too much or if they have some weird fluids in their mouths.

Hello,

Can you review your tank setup with us, just so we can be sure everything is all setup correctly.
If he is getting ready to shed, his nostrils could be clogged up which can impede the breathing to the point where they can wheeze, snort or breathe erratically too.
Do you have a video of him breathing?
