His coloring is absolutely stunning! What a beauty! Lots of luck with him! Does he/she have a name yet? Can't wait to see more pics of this adorable baby!

no name yet its so hard...been throwing some around...."Dash" "Tito" "tank" "Dozer" its so HARD!

I got him from dachiu.com...so far everything is GREAT he has his nose in the greens and jumps on anything that moves i lost count! lol 2 silkies a couple crickets and some lobster roaches that came with him! I AM VERY HAPPY!!

yeah its really looking that way! lol!...I'm gonna have to order like 1000 crickets or something and then get some worms for snacks or roaches....I'm just glad I didn't give up on bearded dragons after my downfall with the petco dragon

O yeah this guy is gonna have it made...i'm gonna build him a nice set up in about a month 1/2....i lost count but i think he had 10+ crickets for breakfest and 1 roach......


question!! When he gets under his heat, how long should he be sitting there for? and also he opens his mouth...I think to let heat out? does it a good amount i tested the temps for a 10hr day and the temp only got up to 111 degrees with a 60 watt he looks happy and alert just wondering if opening his mouth is normal?

Yea the opening mouth is gaping/thermo-regulating. The equivalent to dog panting.
The temps were with a digital thermometer right?
It's normal for a dragon to spend alot of time basking, Ridley spends hours at a time on his basking spot. He will sometimes 'gape'. But if he wants to cool off he goes to the cool side and hangs out there.

haha, youve entered the phase. that quetioning everything phase:) I love it, the gaping is fine, as long as your cage has a good gradient, warm to cool. Check on that frequently.
