I'd like to introduce myself and my beardie George. I have had him for about 4 years, and adopted him when he was about 8 years old. He has metabolic bone disease and we are trying to make his life a bit better. I didn't know much about beardies when I basically inherited him and I did all the things the old owner told me to, but apparently those instruction were't exactly correct. I'm amazed he has made it this long without proper care. I started doing everything correctly, lighting, feeding, etc. and he seems so much happier. I felt so bad I gave him a long soak and then a nice sun bask (while i basked in the sun as well, hehe).
