Hi, I have a new pet well actually its my 9 year old sons...
I was a little hesitant on getting a bearded dragon but Dad talked me into it. I find this little creature quite amazing!!
I love watching him!!! I have a few questions to ask?
I have been alternating greens and then crickets and he seems he likes the crickets much more... He does not seem to like the carrots or greens??? Is this a problem?? :?
His name is Spike and I dont have a picture yet but I will get one...
Thanks,
Spikes Mama

I just got my girls afew weeks ago..they did the same thing.try taking away the crickets for awhile(as long as spike is healthy),and just offer greens.you could also try feeding him Baby food..like carrot, etc through a dropper. Its not much but i hope it helps!

Don't hold back on live feeders.
They really don't like their greens until they get older.
Continue to offer them daily, even if they are not getting eaten.
Offer as many crickets as he can eat in a 10-15 minute period.
Be sure that you are dusting the crickets.
Just wondering what your set up is like?
Temps, kind of UVB, substrate? cool side temps? And anything else that you can think of.
How old/long is he?
Did they tell you to bath him atleast once a week and mist him daily?
You would be suprised at some of the stuff people are not told about..
I hope this helps..

dusting is putting vitamins/minerals and calcium on their food. Some good products for this are herptivite and repcal. You need to make sure that there isn't any phosphorus in the supplement.

Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
