How often should I feed veggies?

I know for baby beardies it’s 80% live food and 20% veggies but can someone tell me how often is that? I’ve been giving a little mix of mustard greens, squash and sweet peppers every morning. He normally doesn’t eat much of it. Am I giving him enough or too much veggies?

Really no thing as too much veggies unless its all he was eating. You are doing good, offer daily even if he is only eating a little.
I usually offer greens first when the dragon is the hungriest.

That's a good amount of time. Wait for him to bask a bit and warm up in the morning before breakfast.

Honestly it would be hard to offer too many veggies. Personally my experience has been early exposure to a variety of veggies/greens is the best thing. Not much different than what you would do with a toddler. When they get used to seeing some thing in trying it the more they’ll be open to eating it. You can try some cut up sugar snap peas as well, collards, turnip greens, escarole, arugula, peeled cut or julienned butternut squash for variety. I mix n match.

I agree with the others, finely chopped greens for a small baby if the leaf is a tough type like collards or if you use squash you can either shred it or microwave it to soften it . My dragons usually get greens like turnip, kale, arugula, mustard and sometimes collards. It's perfectly fine to put the greens in within a half hour, most beardies will wait until they're warmed up but even if they eat early they have all day to bask in the heat to digest their food. BTW, do you have any pics of your baby ?

Mr. Rex is an adult and he still likes everything cut pretty small, shredded or julienned. I would love to see pix if the baby too.

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
