Ready for the new arrival

New baby should be here in a week or so. His/her new home is just about ready. Cool side temp gets to 75 at night and during the day its about 81-85. I'm awaiting a 50w halogen to try for the spot as the 60w I have is too powerful and getting it to temp means dimming a lot. Then I need to raise the humidity up a bit. Its currently at 25% ish. Let me know what ya'll think.

Repti-Sun 10.0 HO (12" - 14" from basking spot)
60w Halogen Spot
Deep Heat Projector 80w (24 hrs on, keep daytime temp between 85-78 depending on the location. Night time drops to 72-75)

I will be installing a background to cover the sides and back.

That's looking good! I really like the decor and the driftwood pieces for climbing. You can probably let the temps go down a little bit more overnight. 68-73 is a good range to shoot for, but 75 is OK - just a fine tuning suggestion. Comes down to individual preference of the dragon which you'll be able to observe over time. Which ReptiSun 10 are you using? Is it a T5 tube? The outputs for each of them are different (And unfortunately the branding doesn't describe them very well). A T5 tube should be OK at 12'' (probably 10-12'' if shining through a mesh top). The compact version or the T8 version aren't as powerful and should be set a bit closer (6-8'').

Cooper, thanks for the nighttime temp advice. Will definitely drop it down a bit. The UVB is in fact a T5 HO mounted in a Sunblaster fixture inside the viv. I know you're going to ask so yes I did check the reflector and had to switch it around.

All of the decor a aside from the cork came from an aquatics store. It doesn't show in the photos but I do have LED tape lights on the inside going all the way around. They are cut into sections and soldered to each other with 22 gauge wire and all run off of the same power source.

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
