Mr. Pink was pretty burned out from his shed yesterday but he had a good night's sleep in his cave and he is back in action today! I gut-loaded medium live crickets last night with his favorite foods and they are big and juicy this morning. My little guy is going after these things with lightning speed and he is motivated like he hasn't eaten in a week, lol. He took a moment out from his hunting this morning for a photo op and he wants to say hello to all the beardie people out there.

Sounds like a growth spurt may be coming on soon. I'm glad he has a good appetite and plenty of food =)

Brown2353,

First off, Mr. Pink turned out to be a pretty female dragon, lol. The first shed is an interesting experience to say the least. When Pinks starts a shedding cycle she rubs her face and lips on rough ceramic to start the process. First, her lips shed, and then her head. Next is her tail, followed by her four legs. Lastly, her body. The body shed is creepy because she sheds her torso in a few hours and it is a lot of dead skin. Pinks does not like shedding and she gets really moody during the process. Her appetite also gets a little wonky while this is all going on. When her body sloth is done she disappears for a long nap. When she wakes up she is back to her normal self and REALLY hungry. I always have crickets and raspberries waiting for her when she wakes up and she is bouncing around like a crazy-ass in no time. Only now, she is a big crazy-ass!

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
