Hello!

Hello, I have been looking and reading posts on this site for a while now, and looking forward to becoming a beardie owner of my own. I am pretty sure I have all the basic information figured out on how to raise a healthy beardie, but I'm having a bit of trouble finding a tank. Where did you guys find your tanks? Everywhere I have been looking is out of stock (then again, maybe I am not looking hard enough).
I haven't bought anything else yet, I thought starting with the tank would be a good idea.
Any tips and recommendations are greatly appreciated!

If you are a carpenter you can build your own tank - you can check out the DIY board and go from there - or if you like start looking on FB marketplace - or craigslist- Look for a tank w/ front doors they are the best to work w/ since you will be in and out of the tank a lot! If you find one make sure you sanitize it really good - either w/ Zoo Meds Wipe Out or F 10 - look for a 40+ gallon the bigger the better-- I can tell you what not to buy --- UVB's NO COILS--- NO SAND-- NO COLORED bulbs-- I dont know how much you want to spend on a tank - I have 2 Zen Habitats that are very nice - you can check out this website for them https://www.zenhabitats.com/?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI25bC8dTR6QIVSv7jBx1X8AHbEAAYASAAEgLIy_D_BwE

Start w / some of these and do some research on your own - you can try googling enclosures for bearded dragons too
