Hello!

I have been a bearded dragon wanter for about 3 years now. I started my research back then but life happened, like crazy, so took time off. I am just finishing the end of my graduate school experience and will be graduating with my masters in May 2020. I hope to acquire the perfect dragon for me after graduation so have started researching and reading like crazy again. After graduation, I plan on moving and when I settle into my new place is when I hope to get started.

I've done countless amounts of research and got to the point I really am ready to start discussing things and talking to a well-established community! Something I consider a strength of mine is the countless research I do on animals before adopting / purchasing and the continued research I enjoy. :D

I am currently in Idaho, USA. I have my german shedder (shepherd  ), my two kitties, hamster, 50-gallon tropical aquarium, and two axolotls!

You are busy!!!! Doing research does help that is for sure- when finding information and your not sure about what you have found it is always good to ask -- especially people that already have them and have experienced them personally -- problems etc.............. first off the cats and the dog could present a problem- I have 5 cats in my house and 2 dragons- I keep my dragons in my computer room one on a dresser and one on a aquarium stand that are stand alone and have nothing by them for the cats to jump up to or on----------- if they were to jump they would haft to jump from the floor and they dont because they cant see where they are jumping to -- so they dont even bother and have never tried--- we have had several people on here that the dog or / cat have gotten their babies and they did not survive--- so word of warning beware of your other babies (cat and dog) and their behavior and what they might do --- also the dragon will get stressed out from the other animals as well --- until they become used to them - my dragons watch my cats from their tanks as they can see them on the floor and unless the dragons are at the door of their tanks the cats cant see them -- I take my dragons out but never leave them alone in the room by themselves w/ the cats - we are always babysitting the dragon - the cats usually will walk up and smell the dragon and turn and walk away -- they have become used to them and have never tried to play w/ them so its been pretty good but I still am always there watching when they are out-- I am assuming your doing research as far as where your going to get your little one from? Most will say to stay away from pet stores -- but most people on here that post have gotten them from pet stores -- well good luck and if you have questions please ask -- some one on here will be able to answer I am sure

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
