Yesterday I did it again, I rescued another Beardie. A Female 6" Hyper as heck Dragon. I'm not too sure on a name for her yet, But I think I'm going to go with Phoenix. She is the cutest thing ever.
View media item 60833View media item 60357View media item 60777View media item 60671View media item 60437Unfortunately there are a few problems with her because She didn't have the correct lighting with her previous owners, And She wasn't held much and wasn't held right, So She's Extremely jumpy and flighty and isn't too used to handling yet, so I'm going to need to work on her with that using time, patience, and lots of love and fleece.

The other problem is that Her previous owners had her for around 2 months and said she was around 6-7 months old, Either they were very wrong About her age(which is what I'm hoping), or she is Extremely Stunted in growth.

Because Rocket is 7 months old and there is an extreme size difference (don't worry they were separated from glass and They only saw each other for a brief moment while I could take a picture). View media item 60686
So far she seems to live life at 2x speed and she Seems to have already mastered her death glare, And I've been trying to get her used to handling by using the extra soft blankets.
She seems to be warming up to handling more but time will tell.

She seems to be extremely aggressive when in her tank but she calms down once she is in the blanket.

Currently she's temporarily living in a ten gallon tank until we clean out the spare 40 gallon.

It's a good sign she is energetic. She looks pretty good based on the photos. Good lighting and diet should help her bounce right back =)

Yeah she Is exceedingly active, Her UVB should arrive within a week or two so hopefully she'll be fine, I've got Dubias arriving soon as well, So Thankfully if I keep on working with her she'll calm down and Grow up well. :)

So far she is still very aggressive when in her tank but she seems to tolerate handling a lot more now, The blanket training also seems to be working very well for her. :) View media item 60408View media item 60844

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
