Hey bearded dragon enthusiasts!

I have a 1.25 year old dragon named Puff the Magic Bearie, or Puff for short.
I've spent a good amount of time figuring out how best to care for him - searching the web, consulting my local Petco, and talking to my vet. There are a lot of opinions out there!

Glad you are spending time figuring out how to properly care for Puff (awesome name btw) however DON’T take advice from any chain pet stores. Only small local stores who really care about the animals can offer you good advice

Ok a few things. Impaction is usually not caused by large food items (you might be thinking of paralysis) it is caused by ingesting foreign objects often loose substrate. Also baths are important for hydration-I bathe mine twice per week.
