Hey guys!

I've been out of the beardie game for awhile- 7 years give or take, but just acquired a new little babe.
Wanted to check in and see if any of the basics have changed?

And cause we all love pics...

Ok- so someone remind me how to add pics

So excited to be back in the game!

A few things have changed over the last few years. There has been more research done into lighting. The best current advice is to use a T5 UVB tube sitting about 12-14'' above the basking area. They will put out light that is closer to mid morning sunlight at that distance. The 22'' (24'' fixture) works well in most enclosures because it's wide enough to cast a beam as long as your dragon to allow even basking.
