Welcome to the forum! He looks like a happy little guy. Did he enjoy his time outside? It might be best to hold him on your lap or use a mesh carrier though. Glass or plastic can heat up really quickly in sunlight and become dangerous.
A few minutes well supervised should be fine. If he is too wild to sit still outside you might want to pick up a mesh playpen like this one for the long run. https://smile.amazon.com/ESK-Collection-Playpen-Exercise-Kennel/dp/B00PQ0FOAU/ It will give him space to run around while allowing sunlight to get to him and protecting him from predators. Pretty lightweight and portable too which is nice.
