Hi! Meet Charmander

Charmander is my first bearded dragon, and I got him a little over 3 weeks ago. He was 4" then, and now is a little over 8". I don't know his age (or gender for that matter), but the pet store said he was just a baby when I got him. He has the biodude's substrate and a prickly pear cactus. He used to be pretty shy but now he'll ride on my shoulder and hang out with me on the couch (though sometimes he tries to run, and I get nervous and put him back in his tank when he does). He's on his basking area in the picture (95-100) and the upper picture is the cold side (stays around 80).

Welcome! He looks like a happy little one. How is the bioactive substrate working out for you so far?

I think he enjoys it. He hasn't dug out a den as far as I've seen, but he does bury himself in the leaf litter at night rather than use the plastic den I got for him.
